1970 Chevrolet K5 Blazer

1969-71 Chevrolet 2wd Blazer Conversion
This is a 1969-71 blazer body and rolling chassis built from a pickup cowl and new pickup cab floor (at the time I bought the panels nobody had the cab floor in stock) and aftermarket woodall blazer panels from the step up panel back including new rocker boxes and end caps and reinforcement plates and the 5 piece blazer windshield header panel repair kit. The cowl was sandblasted and some minor rust repaired at the bottom of the kick panels, lower hinge pillars and one spot where the heater blower motor gasket was. The doors are brand new aftermarket pickup doors cut where its required to make blazer doors out of them. The front fenders are just some 69-72 used fenders I had laying around. This body is all new but the cowl and front fenders so there is zero rust. The chassis is a cut down 2wd half ton longbed chassis. With the appropriate body mounts drilled to accept the blazer body mounts and a fabricated set of brackets similar to a stock blazer at the rear of the cab floor and at the second position from the rear. The chassis has new ball joints, bushings, and tie rod ends, stock 71/72 disc brake spindles and 6 lug rotors. Western chassis 3 inch drop front springs and 5 inch drop rear springs and an adjustable panhard bar. The fiberglass top is double wall top, Its incomplete and needs moderate repair but will come with the body. There are no numbers on this body since it's all aftermarket parts except for the cowl i do have the rear of the cab with the nunbers and clear title if so needed but you need to check with your local DMV to find out what to do to make this legal. Again this is all aftermarket panels but the cowl and front fenders. I have done zero bodywork and only aligned doors and fenders to be sure they were workable. THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL WORK NEEDED DURING BODYWORK TO MAKE THE CLEARANCES AND GAPS CORRECT AS WITH ALL AFTERMARKET PANELS. What you see in the pics is what you get. There is no tailgate, no wheelhouses front or rear and no hatch or hardware for the top other than the 4 mounting brackets. The aftermarket blazer bed floor has zero provisions for a rear seat or seat belts. This will need to be addressed by the next owner if they so desire. I can do it for you but it will take me a week and would not be done until we have agreed on a price for the blazer and the money has been paid. Please note again THIS IS A BLAZER CONVERSION MADE FROM A PICKUP COWL AND NEW AFTERMARKET BLAZER REPAIR PANELS AND A CUT DOWN 2WD LONGBED CHASSIS. It's not a factory blazer. If you know how hard it is to find a decent rust free body and how hard it is to find a 2wd blazer this era at all then you'll understand this is a great start to build what you want with zero rust repair to do and without trying to find a decent body or chassis. Thanks for looking.
