1970 Chevrolet El Camino

Only 2,343 miles since an $80,000 frame off, rotisserie restoration. We have a binder of documentation. The body shop labor alone was $27,156! It has some really nice performance upgrades.
EXTERIOR: This is a gorgeous looking El Camino, it actually won an award for the brightest paint at a car show. Absolutely no rust. New fenders, door skins, quarter panels, hood, valance and complete tailgate. The body was on a rotisserie so it could be worked from all angles. The doors open and close like new, they have new hinges and door latch mechanisms. The tailgate is entirely new and has rebuilt hinge. It has a functional cowl induction hood with the flapper door. The paint like red glass. It is so slick I dont think a fly could land on it. The jambs are just as slick. All new glass except vent windows. Up front the grills, emblem, bumper, marker lights and headlight bezels have been replaced. The stainless moldings around the windows, doors and gutters was replaced. Mirrors, door handles and all the trim around the bed was replaced. In back the tail light housings, bumper, reverse lights, lenses and emblem are new. All new weatherstrips and window seals. It rolls on a set of 17 inch polished Boyd Coddington wheels. They are much wider in back.
INTERIOR: It was gutted, Dynamated then everything replaced new. Completely new seats- springs, cushions, upholstery, chrome trim, seatbacks and headrests. In front of me the SS dash is completely. New gauges including tachometer and working clock. It has new vents, heater controls, knobs, dash pad. New steering wheel on a tilt column. It has a retro stereo fit right in the dash and molded kick panel speakers. Down on the floor is a new center console with the right indicator for overdrive, new carpet, SS mats and it has seat belts. Overhead it has a new headliner, visors, mirror and a working dome light.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Show quality! It has a spunky 383 stroker motor putting out around 425 hp. It has aluminum heads and an endura shine intake, fuel injection with a K&N filter. It also has MSD ignition system and a set of coated headers. Dressed up with some sharp cast aluminum valve covers. The whole front of the motor is March billet. The brackets, pulleys, polished 1 wire alternator, polished mini a/c compressor and power steering. It has a new steering box, coupler, stainless braided hoses and remote reservoir. It is a serpentine belt system. It runs cool with the Griffin aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. It also has polished water pump, braided heater hoses and polished overflow bottle. The power brake booster and master assembly is new. The wiper motors are new, the squirters are hooked up. The a/c lines are neatly run behind the fender. It has beautiful set of billet hinges. Everything in the engine bay is painted slick. It's beautiful.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Wow! Inside the bed is just as slick as the outside. Not a dent or ding. The paint is glass finish. It has a quality rubber mat. The tonneau cover looks nice, lifts easily.
UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the frame. The chassis was completely restored. The frame, control arms, cross member, bumper brackets and more were powder coated. All new Hotchkiss Sport Suspension. The front steering and suspension is completely new, it has lowering springs and Edelbrock gas shocks. In back it's all new too. It has lowering springs with air bags, upgraded swaybar, Edelbrock gas shocks, custom upper and lower control arms. It has a Gibson performance stainless exhaust with x-pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers. Bottom of the motor is spotless. It has chrome oil pan and the high torque starter is painted to match. It has a Mad Dog Punisher Stage 2 700R-4 overdrive transmission. It also has a 2,800 stall and an external oil cooler. Totally rebuilt 12 bolt rear end with Detroit Tru Trac 3 series posi with 3.73 gears, new bearings, girdle, forged yoke, forged axles and aluminum cover. All new custom brake system. Drilled and slotted disc at all 4 wheels, red calipers, braided stainless hoses. New e-brake assembly and stainless brake lines. Powder coated clear gloss fuel tank, new sending unit, electric fuel pump and stainless lines. There is no rust. The body was flipped on it's side on a rotisserie. A complete 1 peice floor pan was installed. It was then sealed in a black chip gaurd. The body was reunited with the chassis using new body bushings.
This is one of the exceptional ones. Amazing paint, all new components, great upgrades. It's down right sexy too!
