1966 Chevy Belair wagon project original paint funeral home car & Ambulance 66

1966 Chevrolet Impala

This was a service car at Lamporte Funeral home in Hamilton, Illinois since new. Has a factory spot light on driver fender and a siren mounted on inner fender well. This probably hauled flowers, people, etc. and also doubled as an Ambulance when needed as that is how the were used in small towns back then. Was a 327 car, but engine is gone. Car was sold to a local person and engine had a block failure and could not be rebuilt. Has original power glide trans, Car is basically complete other than passenger door panel missing. Good floors, rear storage area, nice tailgate, rockers, and cowl. Lower quarters have some rust, driver fender bottom, left rear door dog leg along with bottom of spare tire well. Very average for the age. Original paint, and interior. Great untouched original project Clear title. Located in 52649 area code.
