1968 Chevrolet Camaro

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro has been restored to be stunningly stock, and it even has its numbers-matching V8 under the hood. But as you look at all the great details on this all-blue coupe, you start to see some well-placed upgrades. So from the extra growl of the motor, to the A/C interior, this one knows how to be your ideal classic.

It's hard to resist a Camaro in its original shade of Island Teal. There was a proper investment in a high quality respray, and so it has a deep gloss on this distinctive paint. It's such a nice first impression that it recalls feelings of those days when you saw your first Camaro. It's a very clean and stock look with the kind of smooth lines and mirror-like chrome that make this an iconic coupe. It was also born a V8 car, and so you can understand the sporty details, like the deep chin spoiler and D80 rear spoiler. And while we all love the classic look of the Rally wheel package, upgrading them to 15-inch units really fills the arches better.

One of the best features of this coupe is revealed when you open the door. The blue bucket seat interior looks great against the coordinating blue exterior hue. This is the kind of color that could have only come from the 1960s, and so it's extra special to have this sea of blue so well restored inside. The upholstery, carpet, door panels, headliner, dash, and even the trunk all received the right attention to make sure this one feels terrific. So you'll love to grip everything from the factory sports steering wheel to the horseshoe shifter in the center console. While they focused on getting everything correct, there are a few well-integrated upgrades. The AM/FM stereo is a retro-style digital tuner, and while this was born an air conditioning car, it's now blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant.

The 327 cubic-inch V8 was the heart of the early Camaros, so we love to still have the numbers-matching unit under the hood. It has some added flair from the Chevrolet valve covers, polished air grabber, and plenty more shining components. There's also better function from good upgrades like the aluminum radiator. So it's an original-style car that was born to run. And when you twist the key, the Hooker long tube headers not only add some extra power to the V8, but they also help give some extra bass to the X-pipe dual exhaust. This was built to be a cruiser, and so you have a smooth-shifting Powerglide automatic transmission. Plus, there's a rear sway bar, power steering, and power brakes with discs up front.

Complete with maintenance records, this is the kind of Camaro that gets everyone excited. After all, it's original in the right places, upgraded where you want it, and absolutely distinctive out on the road. It's time to take home a legend. Call today!!!
