1981 Chevrolet Corvette

1981 C3 Chevrolet Corvette. Starts and runs (I take it out for a drive twice a week), but needs someone who has the time to get it where it really needs to be.

Not 100% sure eBay will allow external links, but you can also search for "1981 Corvette Waco Texas" (in quotes) on YouTube and find both videos.

• T-tops have new seals and lock down tight.
• New plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, and power steering hose. Horn recently fixed as well.
• Right window needs some adjustment in the door, closes 1/8 inch short of normal position. Note that if car is shipped, i will seal up the space for you to prevent problems if it rains.
• Body panels on left side a tiny bit out of alignment (pictured), but i believe they're all just in need of a single adjustment where they meet to make it a-ok again.
• Carburetor could probably use some love, as the fuel mix seems a little off. Either you let it run for a couple of minutes before heading out, or it struggles a bit for the first 1-2 blocks when you drive it (note that it then levels off and runs quite nicely the rest of the time). I'm no car expert, this is just an educated guess.
• Headlights lift and drop correctly, brights work, brake lights and blinkers work.
• Antenna motor lifts and drops correctly.
• I believe it's a matching numbers car, but I can't get to the little number panel on the engine without removing a bunch of stuff to see it. Not guaranteeing that, but I think it is.
• I always drive it top down, so I can't guarantee the AC is working (it blows, but it definitely needs freon. I've never needed it, so I never filled it to check to see if the system is blowing cold).
