1963 Chevrolet Impala super sport

About this vehicleThis 1963 Chevrolet Impala is an original Super Sport. It was frame off restored, The project was started with the most attention to detail and quality workmanship. The owner came down with health problem and the project stalled and languished in a dry, heated shop. We purchased it recently for resale.
So here is what we know and see.

The floors under the seats were replaced, the trunk floor was replaced. New gas tank, rebuilt rear,all new springs, shocks, adjustable connecting bar, all new bushings, complete rebuilt front suspension,control arms, springs, etc. New brakes and drums. (ONLY rear brakes are assembled.) the frame is flawless, always was, same goes for floors, restored just did not want any dents or dings in floor. I have shown a pic of the section of old floor removed. The frame and bottom of car and entire suspension are blasted and painted in what appears to be in a perfect satin black, probably POR-15. It is a positraction rear.

Under the hood is a 1958 283 engine and cast iron powerglide that came with the car and items purchased from the shop. We dont want it and it was easier to transport in car, so its a bonus to the buyer. We have no idea what engine was in car originally. Under the hood the firewall and inner skirts,radiator support, all bumper brackets, etc, are all finished in same fine satin black and are excellent.
Car comes with real GM "FW" 15" ralley wheels with 67 Corvette center caps. These wheels are 7" wide. There is new radial tires on them.

This car appears to have started life in Arizona and brought here to Conn in 90's as a car that was rust free and the best possible car to do a frame off restoration. The frame and entire car bottom and engine compartment are painted beautifully. No evidence of rust ever anywhere, all new body mounts of course. We removed interior panels to inspect also, including doors. We cannot find any evidence of any panels or rocker replacement or repairs. The quality of the floor panel replacement is very professional.
The dash is the original dash pad which is perfect, gauges, has the SS factory tachometer. The SS dash inserts and the turning are excellent, as is the console also. Its an original 4 speed car. Nothing in dash was ever modified, factory radio still in place. Steering column and wheel are very good. This was a two tone dash. The door panels and rear 1/4 trim panels are all original and very good. The front and rear seats and all trim are very good.
The car has all factory PPG tinted glass, all in very good condition, as is the SS glass frames and all trim. All the window SS trim front and rear are in excellent condition, the rain gutter SS is perfect. The rear valance aluminum turned Super Sport trim is factory and excellent. The front and rear bumpers are very good originals.
There is no front windshield. The windshield frame is perfect, all steel always, nor rust or even pitting. This was obviously a very dry car always.All the windshield and surround trim is included and is excellent as is the rear. Nothing trim wise is missing.

Driveshaft is included.

The body is straight, cannot find any repairs. All the side trim is very good, grill and headlamp bezels are OK, not show.
Again, we cannot find any evidence of any rust or corrosion, anywhere, ever. All of the body and floor cap plugs have been removed. There is no evidence of any undercoating under the car.Addtional parts included with car are
