This is 1955 Chevrolet 3100 Short Bed Big Back window pickup truck.It was built in the Los Angeles assembly plant. So it has been a west coast truck its entire life. The past 25 years or more it has been stored in a garage. I have both a Cameo fiberglass fender bed and a standard step side bed. When I bought this about 25 years ago it had a Cameo bed on it, but I decided to convert it to conventional short bed since the Cameo bed was in bad shape. It has a 1955 Short bed on it currently, but the Cameo bed goes with it. The bed alone usually sells for $2000 plus. The original fiberglass Cameo fenders are in very poor condition. The original Cameo rear bumper and spare tire holder are missing except for the bumper brackets. I have the original Cameo taillight assemblies as well.I have several large boxes of brand-new parts I bought years ago that may easily total as much as the starting bid. I have no reserve on this truck, so it will go for the final bid. The extra parts include all the weather stripping, 5 original steel wheels, full size hubcaps, radio, dash parts and seat.The truck is rust free with repaired cab corners already done. There are 3 extra complete doors too. The frame is original.This was originally a 6-cylinder, manual trans setup, but I have all the parts to put a 1965 Chevy 283 and 1986 700R4 Overdrive automatic in it. Those go with it as well. I have 2 original steering columns and one is set up for a factory 1955 automatic shifter. I have the front and rear glass stored away, but it is original and may not be perfect. The bed and front end are not secured to the body. Please figure that into any shipping quotes. Also, there are several large boxes of extra parts that go with the truck, and the extra Cameo bed. This is a great truck for an original restoration or even resto-mod.
