Chevrolet only made around 4,000 Monte Carlo Super Sports in 1983. Now think about how many of those cars were tubbed and ruined at your local drag strip. I saw one last month at a crash derby! For that reason there are not a lot of 83’s left. Think about this, they only came in (2) color options / white and the more popular, but more rare, metallic blue, which they only offered in 83 & 84. Hoe about the 2 tone interior, also very rare and only offered in 83, or the combo of bench seat and column shift.Car needs paint, that’s the only bad news. Everything else is done from the 700 R4 transmission (with shift kit) to the 5.7 litre V8 motor upgrade from an 86 Iroc Z Camaro, this car has well under 500 break in miles since the motor swap which was completed this past July 2020. Brand new exhaust system, front to back, brand new rims, re padded bench seat cushion, lowered stance to give it the authentic NASCAR style, new radio and rear speakers with Bluetooth connectivity.Car lived 90% of its life in and around Augusta, GA. In the 5 yrs (to the date) that I have owned this Monte it has been garage kept, outside of Boston, MA.
