1979 Chevrolet Corvette

1979 Corvette. When I bought this car it had been sitting for years and did not run. I bought and rebuilt many things on the car including:
Rebuilt front end with new coil springsRebuilt both trailing armsReplaced all u joints on drive shaft and half shaftsNew gas tank with new sending unitFlushed rear end with new fluid and GM additiveAll new plugs, wires and capRebuilt headlights and replaced vacuum lines to headlightsNew turn signalNew ignition (have matching door locks that go to same key but have not installed)Nice wheels and tires
Got this car running nice (was undrivable before due to broken trailing arm) and it rides nicer than any C3 Corvette I have ever been in. Super smooth and straight as an arrow. This car had a really bad red paint job on it, I started sanding and was going to paint it the original color, a dark green. The door jams are still the original dark green color. But the the transmission started acting up and would not shift right. I replaced all the seals and the governor and vacuum modulator and it started shifting good again but, after the car sits for a few days it starts leaking really bad, a couple quarts. What is weird is you can fill it up, drive it, park it and for days there won't be a drop, then after several days it will suddenly start leaking. I was told it could be a bad pump, but do not know for sure.

The other issue is the carb, which needs adjusted or rebuilt. It will drive fine but after driven for while it idles roughly like it is getting too much gas. Car is drivable, and actually drives good but it is rough at idle.
Trying to list anything I know that still needs fixed: blower motor, gauges (speedo and tach work fine). Needs a new exhaust, the one on it is kind of patched together. Power windows work good. Has the smoked see through t-tops which are nice.
I like the car and have done a ton of work to it, but I have another 1976 Corvette and really want to work on it but need the cash to make that happen, also have a 2000 Vette that needs a few items. So, I am going to sell this one and start on the other ones. If this doesn't sell I will just keep and continue on. I'm not desperate to sell and actually kind of on the fence as I have done a lot of work to this and would like to see it completed.
If you are in the area and want to look at it contact me. This is a drivable car but I consider it a project as it still needs several things to to be nice. Most of the hard stuff (and expensive) is already done. My starting bid is the absolute lowest I will take for it. This will cover most of what I have in it, except for all the hours I have worked on it. If you have any questions please contact me. Please do not bid if you do not have the money or a way to get it.
