Purchased it after it had sat for 4 to 5 years and it started up about right away. It ran tough so decided to use carburetor cleaner and actually got it running pretty good but used the last of the can of cleaner and while idling where it sets now quit running and never could get running again. Eliminated fuel filter and eventually started pouring gas in the carburetor which would get it started but quit and a few times even backfired and started a fire on top of carburetor. So gave it up and eventually purchased another old Chevy and I’ve never done anything else to this and has now sat for 8 years. Was told probably plugged up the catalytic converter.
