This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 tribute is a beauty to behold with every effort made to make it as close as possible to the real deal. The exterior is painted in a very glossy Bright Red over a very straight body that really stands out in a crowd. All of the correct SS396 trim pieces, dual power bulge hood, ribbed rocker panels and black rear SS panel were used in creating this very accurate tribute. The exterior is complemented by excellent chrome bumpers, bright trim and glass, Rally Wheels with chrome trim rings and center caps wrapped in Grand AM RWL radial tires. The interior is just as impressive with a high quality black vinyl bench seat, excellent dash, door panels, side panels, carpet and headliner. It also includes a Pro Racing Tach, Data Com auxiliary gauges, Hurst four speed floor shifter, and the original factory AM push button radio. Under the hood is a very clean engine bay with chrome valve covers and air cleaner. The fully built Chevrolet 396 CI Big Block V8 has been bored .030 over, has TRW forged pistons, a forged crankshaft, stainless valves on hardened seats, solid lifter cam (.519/.519 lift), Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley 800 CFM double pumper carb, and Mallory Unilite Distributor. All of this is backed by a Center Force Clutch, Muncie 4 speed manual transmission and a GM 12 bolt rear axle with Richmond 3:90 gears. The undercarriage is as clean as the engine bay with a near new appearance.This car starts, runs and drives like it would have in 1967. The powerful Big Block power really sets you back in the seat and the sound is awesome! There will be no disappointments with this car.DISCLOUSERThis vehicle overall is an outstanding Chevelle SS396 tribute but there are a couple of minor issues prospector bidders need to know. Issues include the factory radio is not currently connected, the speedometer works fine but the odometer is not in working order.
