1963 Chevrolet Monza Spyder

Chevrolet Corvair Spyder, Red on Red. 37,315 miles on odometer Not known if actual. 3.27 diff for fantastic highway cruising. Great on mountain hills when turbo kicks in. Runs great. Purchased from CORSA club member that was ready for a change in vehicles. He had experienced motor problems and just wanted out! The problem turned out to be a loose valve guide in one of the heads. A newer set of turbo heads were purchased and completely gone through and installed on the motor. All work was performed by experienced Corvair mechanics. We have not driven the car extensively although I have driven it around the mountains in Virginia to keep it exercised recently, and will take it to a few local car shows. We and don't have a long term knowledge of the workings on the car however it runs great and is a lot of fun. The car had been very well maintained, and the only thing I know it needs is a set of vent window gaskets. Needs a new owner that will maintain it and make it their own. The lower shrouds were left off intentionally to show the push rod tubes and condition of the bottom of the motor. They will be installed and doors set properly.
