1987 Chevy C10 Scottsdale Short bed
1987 Chevrolet C-10
1987 Chevy C10 Scottsdale short bed or Square body. Great, dependable, daily driver or weekend run around COOL TRUCK! Things within the last year, New front and rear bumpers and brackets, new front grill and emblem, new headlight surrounds, new outer wheel well trim, new front and rear lenses/side lenses, new window seals and door gaskets, new rear gray shaded window, new dash cover, door panels (both painted tan), new blue carpet, new blue seat upholstery, new rear speakers (although hooked up to original radio, not a big stereo guy), lowered 3" in front with coils, 5" in rear with blocks (not a high end lowering kit but does the job), new cup holder, body was messaged straight, filled in bed stake pockets, removed both drip rails, painted PPG blue with small flake, PPG silver with painted green/purple striping (not tape) to add boxed panels like the 60's on the sides. Eng is stock 350 that runs great, auto trans rebuilt approx 3 years ago, brakes rebuilt about a year ago, AC works, all lights work, Chevy Rally wheels with new 255/70/15 tires. Has a few small chips at upper tailgate, and around gas lid (imagine that). Has dual tanks and they both work. Two of the original gauges dont work, so added a tri-gauge kit to monitor systems. Mileage may be closer to 130K, and starts, idles and runs great. I didn't pay much attention to engine bay, because I figured if the engine ever let go, I'd throw a Big Block in it and clean it up then. Hasn't happened. Will need new door locks, I lost the door key and to lazy to swap them out. Fly in and drive home if you choose. Hate to sell it, but started another Chevy dually build. Good luck!On Sep-15-20 at 16:34:07 PDT, seller added the following information:
Thanks for all the interest. I will assist your shipper with loading the truck at our home, or nearby area if the truck isn't able to gain access to our neighborhood. I drove the truck to work today, and discovered the cruise control isn't working. I never use it, but thought I'd check and wanted everyone to know.

Thanks for all the interest. The body was stripped to bare metal, prepped and painted. The side panels were not painted as originally designed intentionally, as we wanted to do something different and create panels, vice running the side stripes continuously down the sides of the truck. The pin-stripping is not tape, these were also painted and cleared with the overall base colors. The bed is not satin black paint, but has been bed lined. After painting the inside of the cab, I also applied bed lining to the cab floor, for additional rust protection, and sound dampening. Body and paint work alone cost me close to $8K. I'm selling because I'm simply moving on to building a 91 C3500 dually truck. We are close to the reserve, so someone is going to get a great deal. Hope this helps; good luck!
