1991 Chevrolet Other Pickups

I purchased this truck from the State of Connecticut. It appears that the brackets of the U-bolts that hold the rear axle to the leaf spring rusted away, causing the axle to come loose, breaking the rear driveshaft's U-joint yoke. At this point the State apparently began to cannibalise the vehicle. Missing are: the bed, the AC compressor, the alternator, and possibly more.
The engine runs on starter fluid, but after a few hours' work, I was unable to get the throttle-body injectors to squirt. I think it's safe to assume it was running when it broke its driveshaft yoke (this does not commonly occur when a vehicle is parked with the engine off). Also, safe to assume that it hasn't been driven since.
So partswise, you should be getting a 33K5.7L engine, automatic 4WD transmission, axles, etc. If you want to restore it, the vehicle is rusty underneath, but not ghastly (my daily-driver Ford pickup is not much better) and might come back. Most of the sheet metal is pretty decent.
I have temporarily reattached the rear axle to the springs, so you should have no problem loading the truck onto a trailer, or even towbarring it.
Clean 33K title from the State.
