1967 Chevrolet Nova Wagon Restomod

The flames running down the side of this 1967 Chevy II Nova Wagon restomod don't try to hide its mean machine intention. So while others enjoy the grocery-getter looks, you'll be passing them all with a performance-built small block power...and doing it all while riding in A/C comfort.

These wagons were more expensive than the Super Sport coupes when new, and so they're always a rare sight today. That's why you're looking at a carefully crafted custom. This has an outstanding performance look with the tall cowl hood, dual exhaust tips, and polished torque thrust wheels with extra meaty rear ones to give this an aggressive stance. Plus, we all instantly gravitate to the custom flames that burn the whole length of the wagon. But while this has a speedy style, don't forget to recognize the quality in this build, too. The silver metallic and burgundy are a striking color combo, especially with the later application that gives this a nice clearcoat luster. And as you get closer, you'll see this two-tone is artfully intertwined as it uses the opposing color for custom pinstriping on the front and rear. Bright chrome bumpers, nicely aligned panels, good weatherstripping, and doors that close with confidence are all part of this well-done quality package.

The black interior has the clean look of a proper investment. The seats, carpet, dash, doors, and headliner all have a nice deep color. A wagon like this has added appeal because it means you have room for extra gear for tailgating at car shows and ballgames. Since this is a classic you'll want to share with family and friends, there are features everyone will enjoy like cold R134a air conditioning and provisions for an AM/FM/CD stereo w/USB. But you don't need anyone else to really enjoy this Nova. It was built to be a driver's car with low-back front buckets and an armrest center console in-between. The sports steering wheel is on a tilt column, there's a Lokar floor shifter, and your gauges are now a full set of crisp VDO units with large speedo and tach.

You're going to proudly lift the hood at car shows, because this one shines so bright. We love all the polished components, and it's especially cool to have the valve covers with etched flames to match the exterior. But more than just look great, there's plenty of substance behind the flash. It's a Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8 that features an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Weiand intake, and long tube headers that add power while feeding the X-pipe dual exhaust. Plus, there are nice supporting components, like an upgraded distributor, nice belts, and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. It's built to be a solid anytime driver, and so there are some great upgrades like the TCI Mustang II-style front end. And the 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission has a smooth operation and highway-friendly overdrive. There's also power steering, power brakes with front discs, and nice tread on the modern tires.

Grocery getters turned street machines is an art, and this one feels like a masterpiece. Don't let this distinct classic slip away, call today!
