VEHICLE DESCRIPTION:My understanding of the history of this vehicle is that it was an occasional family driver until around 2002 or so, and when the owner fell ill it was stored securely until the last year or so. When brought out of storage the drivetrain was serviced, new 10ply tires installed, the original "PATINA" was clear coated to preserve its originality and vintage look, and the interior was cleaned and detailed to an exacting degree (see the pics and video.) The current Title is clear and clean and in hand showing 86k miles (further supporting the original low mileage even prior to storage) This truck is amazing and an original head turner.The interior is crazy nice (nearly mint condition) and very well preserved, so much that one would think the vehicle was kept in a time capsule. The exterior shows very well, especially if you are fond of the recent craze of the original PATINA look as it sports the factory original color scheme.This is a current classic Suburban, and is absolutely on the rise for popularity and worth. I bought this vehicle as a future investment but another opportunity has come up. If I could afford it, I would sit on it for a few years and reap huge projected rewards financially, but I cannot and must get rid of it to make room for this other project
*In my opinion I would rate as follows (I am pretty picky):Interior 9.5 of 10, Exterior 7.5 of 10, Mechanical 7.5 of 10A/Cdoes work, it has been retrofitted to R134a, is not as efficient as we are used to with late model vehicles of course.The truck does start well, run well, shift well, and ride well. This vehicle will notdisappoint
*NOTE: If you are buying from out of state,I recommend you make arrangements to ship or trailer the vehicle home from here. I have driven it about 250-300 miles or so with no issues at all, but although it has 98k original miles and was serviced completely, it WAS in storage for a long period of time prior. I would prefer to "stretch its legs" locally rather than pushing her 500-1500+ miles on the highway. Just like our bodies, it takes a while to get "back into regular shape." Be reasonable with your expectations right off the bat.
