1950 Chevrolet HOT ROD 3100series1/2 ton, short bed pickup. FORD POWERED 351W, C6 automatic, and a 9" rear axle. This truck runs and drivesvery nice; smooth and straight down the road. It's also quite fast and gets a ton of attention at car shows.

Engine/Transmission
Small block FORD 351 .060" over (362ci), World products heads, Comp Cams Thumper roller cam, roller rockers, AHC coatedheaders, Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock 750 manual choke carburetor. Runs good with good oil pressure. Builder estimate 400hp but no documentation. Ford C6 3-speed automatic transmission. Side exit full dual exhaust has an aggressive tone. New4 rowradiator,runs cool with nooverheating issues.

Body/Cab/Box
Truck is asolid South Dakota farm truck. Original green paint. Exceptionalpatina with nobondo orpatches.Has dents, dings, scratches but is asolid truck. No patch panels. Floors, cowls, cab mounts are solid. Only the driver side cab corner has rust through. The doors open and close very nice. Tinted side and rear glass. Has new side window weatherstrip. Treated plywood bed, stained black. Under bed fuel tank.

Interior
Original bench seat freshly reupholstered with original style brown vinyl. The seat back was modified and made 2.5" thinner for more space, also with added lumbar. Nice dash.Original steering wheel.B&M Floor shifter.Fullworking Dolphin gaugesand multi color tach. Electric wipers. Adjustable proportioning valve and key ignition are at the base of the driver seat. New chrome visor brackets, andvinyl visors. All new wiring.

Chassis
Original 1/2 ton frame with TCI Mustang II IFS front. leaf spring rear with lowering blocks.Disk brake front, drum rear. 9" Ford truck rear axle with 3.25 gears anda spool. 15" painted steel wheels with chrome caps and rings. Rear tires are new, fronts at 6-7 32nds.

There is no horn.No heat/AC.No headliner. Therear axleleaves a drop of oil occasionally. Has approximately 4900 miles since build. It's fast and fun, ready to cruise!
