THIS IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR SALE. THE ORIGINAL HIGH BIDDER RETRACTED HIS BID AFTER BEING HIGH BIDDER FOR A COUPLE DAYS AND THE BACK UP BIDDER WHO WON THE AUCTION HAD ALREADY BOUGHT ANOTHER CAR IN THE MEANTIME. PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS BUYER.
For Sale is a 2 OWNER 1967 Corvette L79 4 Speed Coupe. This needs a COMPLETE RESTORATION. This has been taken off the road since 1970, and has had the same owner since 1969. This is a numbers matching 327/350 4 speed coupe. It has been sitting outside/covered since 1970. This is a goodwood Green with saddle interior coupe with Tele Column and side pipes. The other sidepipe cover & rocker molding are included. THE FRAME IS SHOT. This needs to be replaced. The dog legs have large holes. Body has multiple breaks.
The engine is correct, as are the carb, intake, radiator, overflow tank & alternator. Other than some changed hoses it looks original. The car shows 54K miles and they are believed to be original. The paint is shot, sunbaked and checked from being outside. The front end was slightly modified, the parking lamps were shaved and signals were installed where the front bumper bracket holes are. This has a Tele Column.
The front wheels are the original DC's and the Rears are AG's (15X7). This car NEEDS IT ALL. It has not been started since 1970, if you think it might need it, it will. This is a COMPLETE PROJECT. This would be a great donor for a Resto Mod. The original owners manual, jack instructions & radio book are included. This car has a transferable NY Registration. NY was not a Title state until 1973. No cars older than 1973 have a Title in NY.
