1988 Chevrolet S-10 S10

This truck was set up to race it can be street legal with a little work like hook up brake lights, turn signals, windshieldwipers and install approved dot tires. The front tires have some cracks so they will have to be replaced and needs correct lug nuts for the wheels that are on there now. It has a 355 cubic inch engine it has a Howards.510" lift with 299 duration camshaft, forged crankshaft, +.030" TRW forged pistons, pink rods, roller rocker arms, cylinder head bolts and crankshaft main cap bolts have been switched overto studs, aftermarket aluminum cylinder heads, 400 turbo transmission, 3500 stall convertor, 10 bolt 8.5" ring gear with 4.11 gear ratio, drive shaft loop, Slicks on the back, front and rear adjustable shocks, front and rear disc brakes, 750cfm Holley carburetor and Holley intake manifold, Fuel cell, electric fuel pump, new battery mounted in bed, the truck starts and runs good but after it warms up to operating temperature of 180 degrees the oil pressure is low so I do not drive it I think it can be fixed with some new rod and main bearings and possibly a new crankshaft. It is not going to be drive ablewith out the repairs. I think the last owner ran the engine hot a few times I have installed a new radiator and mechanical fan it does not run hot anymore the last owner said it did not run hot but he was a fricking lair.
