Description:

1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

Used in very good condition. 1981 Z28, has 350 motor with TH350 trans. Paint is original and going bad but body is solid, engine in very good shape. Frame looks to have been painted along with brakes. Brakes and suspension look to have been recently replaced and are in very good condition, work as they should. Interior in good condition. Original seats, carpet, dash (no cracks- put on a dash mat to protect it) and trim. Door armrests need attention, no headliner. Crack in corner of windshield, gauge cluster needs new circuit board (easily purchased from most auto parts vendors) but still shows MPH. New tires with no more than 100 miles on them, 4 wheel alignment at the same time. Brand new seat belts and guides up front.
Wipers, lights all work as they should. Newer classic look stereo last year, brand new speakers last month. New air cleaner, spark plugs, and plug wires in the fall. Installed a new valve cover at the same time to stop a cover leak. I did not coat the cover so it is a little rusty- I planned to replace both this summer with chrome covers. Has oil pressure gauge mounted under the hood. Runs reliably, my wife and I use it for weekend drives and have not had any issues. This is a solid original Z28 with original 350 motor. It needs a little work to be a show car but its a great driver and very well sorted mechanically. Engine seems to be all original with the exception of wear parts but does not have any aftermarket cams, etc; its a blank canvas to build it the way you want or use it in its original form.
Sale includes a few new parts including stainless headers and all window seals. Interior trim pieces are not currently installed but are included.
This is a factory A/C car but the compressor and hoses were removed by the previous owner (usually done to free up a few extra HP)
