With a slightly redesigned exterior with five fender louvers, updated stinger hood for big block-optioned cars as well new Tri-Power carburetion for 427ci V8's, and new rocker moldings, many enthusiasts find the 1967 model year Corvette to be the ultimate selection for any Corvette collection! The optional knock-off aluminum wheels were modified to be a bolt-on design for added safety with a center cap to hide the lug nuts, along with the absence of hubcaps in lieu of rally wheels instead. Inside, the parking park was moved to the center console between the seats, removed the dash grab bar for passengers, along with other minor revisions. It was meant to be a full redesign year, but the next generation C3 wasn't quite ready with Duntov's approval, so this year ended up being a rather limited production run! Today, they are arguably the most beautiful classic Corvette ever built and remain highly coveted for American Sports Car collectors!

Additional features and options include factory Four Seasons air conditioning, vacuum power disc brakes, power steering, AM/FM pushbutton radio, power windows, and upgraded bolt-on aluminum wheels wrapped with 1" whitewall tires measuring 205/75R15, and a side exit exhaust system!

Fitted with a host of original equipment that includes correct block, heads, exhaust manifolds, chrome ignition shielding, proper GM hoses & clamps, original transmission, rear axle, all original LOF window glass, and more! It was later dressed up under the hood with a Winters aluminum intake, finned aluminum valve covers, more efficient Holley carburetor and open element air cleaner.
This beautiful Corvette was restored while residing in Climax, MI in October 1982 which included a complete repaint to a bare fiberglass body and full engine and transmission overhaul. The mechanical work was carried out by Robert's Service Center in Kalamazoo, MI starting with cleaning & degreasing the engine, magnaflux tested the block, main caps, & rods, followed by a .030 overbore & hone of the cylinder walls, and line hone of the block head surfaces. Fitted with new brass freeze plugs, oil plugs, new main bearings, rod bearings, camshaft & cam bearings, new pistons & rings, head pins, reconditioned rods, new lifters, grind crank .010-.010 & polished, complete valve job, new oil pump, timing chain, hoses & clamps, belts, along with all new MSD electronic ignition equipment, fresh fluids, etc. The odometer was reset to zero upon completion. The chrome bumpers were re-plated by Midwest Bumper Co, and the interior upholstery provided by Al Knock and installed by Cochran's Vinyl Service. It quickly made its way to Florida soon afterward spending time on the road there since 1994.
More recently in 2008/2009, the air conditioning was serviced with new compressor, radiator upgraded to a Griffin 2-row high efficiency aluminum unit, steering gear box resealed, rebuilt power steering pump, rebuilt transmission with new torque convertor, new lower control arm bushings, and front coil springs. It makes no excuses once out on the road, providing outstanding power, smooth gear shifts, super confident brakes, and positive road feel that is easy to steer with just a single finger on the steering wheel! Since 2019, it resided with a New York collector who had the interior front carpet replaced, installed the new blue convertible top, had the carburetor rebuilt, installed the new faux rosewood steering wheel along with a new digital radio in the stock location with new dash speaker. He added 553 miles to this Corvette while enjoying it last summer, and today the odometer shows only 4,603 miles.
It will come with service records dating back to 1982, the original tank sticker, restoration photographs, original steering wheel, factory radio & speaker, and a clear title. It was just inspected and serviced in our shop and could not be more ready for summertime fun! Act quickly astute Corvette buyers! They simply don't come with this array of rare factory options very often!
