1958 Chevrolet 3100 Apache 1/2 Ton Big Window Short Bed Pick Up
You are viewing a very nice fully restored custom truck. Big window short bed fleet sides in 58 are very rare and the first year for a fleet side bed other than the Cameo. A very rare and hard to find truck. Owned since 2012. The build started in 2014 and finished in 2016 with 1,500 miles driven since completed.

Body/Paint: The body is all original steel except a few small patch panels. Door wells are after market as well as the tail gate. The body was soda blasted and in really good condition other than a few small areas. Lots of attention to body work was done to lay the foundation for paint. The body is very straight. Multi coats of gray epoxy primer was used with blocking between each coat. The paint is PPG Copperhead Pearl base/clear. 5 gallons of paint was used to lay on the paint base and clear. Multi coats to give a deep finish. At least 4 coats of clear with wet sand and buff. Very flat paint that is show quality. Super nice body and paint. Smoothed firewall. Shaved emblems.
Interior: Very nice and clean looking interior. 04 Chevrolet Tahoe bucket seats. 2 speaker AM/FM stereo with MP3, blue tooth. Custom made wood center console with stereo inside. Tilt column, Lokar shifter, Auto Meter gauge package, Grant GT steering wheel, Vintage AC and blows cold, new electric wiper system, PW, PS, PB with frame mounted booster and MC and Auto wire system. Smoothed dash.
Running Gear: 383 Stroker with block as original crate Vortec 350 with one piece rear seal. Vortec heads. Block 30 over with roller cam approximately 450 HP. Dress up kit with Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake and Edelbrock 750 cfm carb and electronic ignition. Engine compartment is very nice. Very clean pulley system. Aluminum radiator with thermostat controlled electric puller fan, runs cool. Trans is a rebuilt 700R4 with shift kit with 2400 stall and trans cooler. Rear end is a rebuilt 8.8 with 373 gears with a posi.
Suspension: Weld in TCI front power rack and pinion suspension with QA1 coil overs with 2 inch drop spindles. Frame is boxed front and rear as well as notched frame rail to provide a lower stance in the rear. New stock springs and shocks. Front and rear sway bars. Dropped battery under body.
Bright work: All restored and beautiful.
Glass: All glass replaced and tinted.
Exhaust: Stainless steel long tube headers with 2.5 pipes and SS mufflers. Professional job and sounds awesome with nice lope.
Brakes: Power Disc brakes all the way around.
Wheels/Tires: American Torque Thrust II, rears are custom offset with Ford 5x 4.5 lug pattern. Tires are Cooper Zion front is 235/55 17 and rears are 255/45 18
Summary: The truck represents a complete high quality restoration with a lot of attention to fit finish and final assembly detail. It is in like new condition. Super nice truck.
