1962 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

Great solid car for restoration, high dollar 409 replica, or awesome patina driver the way it is. I have had the car for four years and its been fun to ride around in, but now I don't drive it much, so I don't want it to sit around and waste away while someone can be enjoying it.
Body has been repainted once it seems, a little filler chipping out on the upper quarters, lower quarters will need to be patch, but not replaced I don't think, not severe enough. Driver's quarter in front of the rear wheels is the worst place on the whole car, pictures show all the rust. Car is from OK, so it's stayed in a good dry climate most of it's life. Doors, trunk and underside, trunk gutter, hood and underside are all really nice and rust free. This has the most solid hood and trunk I've ever seen, they are always eaten out under the front lip, not these. I had a guy offer me $1000 for the hood once. lol. Fenders are nice except for the usual small bubbles behind the front wheels, again, needs tiny patch, not replacement at all. Bumpers are straight and really nice. All glass is super nice, windshield does have a star in it though. Looks like a new gas tank from the previous owner, underneath is nice and dry. Interior lamp, turn signals, cold start lamp, everything still works, it's a real driver.
Interior is pretty much a bust, again it's an OK car and the sun has just baked it's guts out. Dash and all is nice, but seat covers are pulling apart, headliner is gone, package tray in the back is almost non existent. lol. Will need a full interior kit, priced it once, it was around $1000.
Drivetrain consists of good ole mister dependable 235 6 cylinder and the classic two speed powerglide automatic. Not once has it not cranked in my years of ownership and she has never left me stranded. Changed it over to an alternator, added a new battery, and installed a Hubard's Impala front disc brake kit when I got it. Best thing I ever did. Two inch drop spindle in the front from Hubard's as well. Rear sat low factory as these cars did. Nice stance now. Just installed the Wheel Vintique's powdercoated steel wheels and new tires. 15" up front and 17" in the rear, tucks nice, no rubs, awesome stance. Wheels and tires don't have 100 miles on them.
In closing, hate to sell her, but I've had a blast riding her around and all the attention she gets, but I don't drive it anymore and I don't want it to go downhill from sitting. I'd rather someone fix it up or just enjoy it the way it is, we all know how bad it is to let a vehicle sit. Please, I've had 20 of these two door cars and know what they are bringing in this shape, so no silly lowball offers, they will be ignored. I have $1200 in the wheels/tires and another $1400 in the brakes/alternator/battery, etc, improvements I've done. I won't give it away, I don't have to sell it, just want what I've invested back out. Any questions you may need answered just shoot them over, any pictures of specifics, I have a lift, be more than happy to send those as well. Non-refundable $500 deposit due at auctions end. Thanks for looking.
