The vehicle needs work.Seller's NotesWe did a frame off restoration on this 1966 Chevy C10. This is a short wheel base step side truck with many upgrades. Rebuilt 350 and rebuilt differential to 3.80:1 gears with limited slip. Brand new trailing arms, 5-4 drop, shocks, front and rear sway bars. Truck has four wheel disc brakes, power steering, and a custom gas tank located at the rear of frame underneath the bed. Brand new body and bed bolts have been installed. Rolled pan has been fabricated at the rear as well. Brand new tailgate chains and a freshly painted tailgate to finish the look. Truck comes with a soft tonneau cover. Brand new cab carpet, original looking radio with modern technology, and speakers to finish the interior.
The bad: There is rust at the rear passenger bottom end of the cab (pictured). There is also rust at the front where the front fender bolts onto the cab. Those are the only concerning areas that I am aware of. I have panels that can be welded in to solve that issue.
There is plenty of work needed to be done on this truck in order to be road worthy. Everything should be double check to see if it is torqued to spec. The things that needs to be completed are brakes, mounting front body clip to frame, driveshaft, transmission cooling lines, heater, new steering column (suggested), seat install as well as seat belts (has a custom upholstered bench seat), wiring, exhaust (has Flowmaster mufflers).
This truck comes with a majority of the parts needed to complete the project or to at least get it close to running. Truck and parts are sold AS IS.
