1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Convertible Tribute. Condition is Used. Cruise, AC, 4 wheel Disc, 2014 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour Car #572. (Florida to Wisconsin and back) 21 MPG Top up, AC on. 98% correct Frame off Resto. Built from several SS Chevelle’s with a GM Build manual. Frame, Body, Title are 1971 Pontiac GTO and Pontiac “Sport Deluxe 400” (Fancy fully loaded GTO). Most of Car and Frame Dipped in POR15. (Brake, Fuel, Transmission Lines and Exhaust System are all Stainless Steel) 12 Bolt 3:36 Posi, Correct BB Fat Front and Rear Sway Bars, 4 Wheel Disc with adjustable Rear proportioning valve (Set)(Rear Brakes are ‘95 Z28, with factory aluminum calipers), Brand New 18X8 Torque Thrust 2’s, GoodYear AllSeason F1’s. Fatter tires on Rear, wheels same size. Detuned for daily driving (easy to turn up) Super Duty 4 speed Automatic Overdrive installed (old guy) or Muncie 4 speed, 4 speed pedals in car, Z-bar included. (2 not complete, in pieces Muncie 4 speeds included above $25,000),Rear Defrost with Heat added, Power Windows, Top. Engine compartment looks correct except intake and water pump. SERP ALT Belt, (for engine Safety when you stomp on it) all others are original style V belts. AMP Gauge converted to Vintage factory Camaro Volt Meter, looks very correct. Everything is New or was. Cruise mostly correct except Corvette bracket. (((Ultra Rare Original 4 speed shifter, Cross member and 4 speed Drive Shaft, Separate correct ‘71 LS5 Block, .030, PAIR 1970 SS 396 Convertible “Build Sheets” and BB Convertible Trim Plate, 3 extra Hoods(1st and 2nd design in rough condition, but fixable) (When sold at Buy Now Price only))) Tons of Details. Now the bad part, Car was ran into a ditch, front clip was replaced with all original GM metal including a BB AC right fender. Hood damaged was aftermarket, 2 or 3 damaged original hoods. I think one is a repop. Needs paint and some body work. Been driving it for years since I fixed it, BUT unfortunately took off hard from the light the other day, snapped the Nose off the Crankshaft(cast) only had 50,000 on it but it’s dead.
