About this vehicleThis 1949 Chevrolet Truck is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.Nice solid and honest 1949 restored to original 3100 Chevy Pickup. Upgrades include front disc brakes, electric windshield wipers, new heater, upgraded AM/FM with Bluetooth. New parts replaced include: Headliner, rubber weatherstripping around doors and windows, new split windshield, new rear window, new dash gauges (everything works), new steering wheel, new horn, new chrome dash. Engine compartment has a new aluminum radiator, chrome valve covers and air cleaner, chrome alternator, new water pump, rebuilt starter, new fuel pump, new carburetor, new wiring included dash lights, new fog lights(all lights and horn work) new overflow tank. In the rear bed I’ve restrained and refinished the oak wood and replaced the painted metal slats with stainless steel slats. I’ve added an oak fencing too. I’ve replaced nearly every part on this truck except Engine (235 ci) and 4 speed manual stick on the floor. The 4 speed was original to the 49 Chevy Pickup. The truck runs as it should for a 49 truck, holds the road and gives a good ride for its age. All springs, shocks steering have been replaced before I owned the truck and all seem to work as they should. As you can see from photos no rust, very solid. Paint and finish are good driver quality.
