1955 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100

1955 Chevy 2nd series short box. I purchased this truck from the gentlemen who built the truck from the ground up. I have owned the truck for several years and am now selling it in order to buy a different car. THIS IS NOT A RAT ROD, it is a frame off restoration with the original patina on the body. The very best equipment and parts were used in the build. That very stock looking engine is a full blue printed and balanced roller engine with aluminum heads that is straight nasty making 500+ HP. The truck has just over 2200 miles on it since it was completed over 5 years ago. I have all the receipts from the build as well as a number of pictures.
Body: 1955 Chevy pickup with all the rust removed other than surface rust.
Engine: 383 fully blue printed and balanced with aluminum heads that have been ported and polished as well. The engine makes roughly 550 HP to the crank. 10.5 to 1 pistons run on pump gas and does no run hot. You could drive this truck as a daily driver if you wanted.
Wiring: EZ wiring 21 circuit mini fuse harness.
Exhaust: 2 3/4" mandrel bent tubing with an X pipe with hidden exhaust cut outs.
Rear end: 373 posi traction gears, gears, axels bearings, seals, drum brakes were all new when truck was first built.
Transmission: 700-R4 with custom made 3000 stall converter. Heat treated input shaft and cryo treated drum assembly includes a sonnex support sleeve inside the drum. B&M shift improver kit, .500 and.296 boost vaves. Upgraded to reybestos Z pack for 3/4" clutch pack, 10 vane pump, upgraded to "beast" drive shell. HD alto high energy material 2/4 band. The tranny is wired look-up 4 gear only with a toggle overdrive which is located under the dash.
Every inch of the inside of the truck is covered with real dynamat extreme sound deading. A new bed was just installed on the truck. This is truly a one of a kind truck. It is a blast to drive and even more fun to lift the hood and show off that motor.
