Acid dipped frame, body, doors and fenders * Wood frame structure removed and replaced with metal * Chopped top 3” * Pancaked turret roof 1 ½" * Raked windshield and rear window * Lowered rear window and door headers 1” to match windshield and opera window height * Raked front grille * Extended wheelbase 4” * Moved front fenders forward 4” * Moved firewall back 4”, replaced with new steel and custom fabricated transmission tunnel opening * Wedge cut body from 0” to 3” from back to front, dropping nose for streamlined profile * Removed rumble seat and fabricated full trunk * Suicided doors with bear claw latches * Custom running boards designed and fabricated to ease entry and exit from car * Recessed rear fenders to accommodate 58 Corvette taillights * Design and fabricate exhaust outlet in rear tail pan with 4 Exhaust tips * Reinforced original frame and added structural strength and bracing * Set up for LS motor with 4L60E transmission * Designed and fabricated rear frame clip to support 4 bar suspension w narrowed Ford Explorer 8.8 Tru Track, Moser 31 spline axels * Wheel tubs modified to allow 20” x 12” wheels * All new steel floorboards, transmission tunnel, wheel tubs and trunk pan * Alden coil overs * Weldwood disc brakes* Scotts Hot Rods of California, Mustang II front suspension with rack & pinion * Gas tank filler tube and hinged access cap located in fender and routed thru trunk * Replaced quarter panels and tailpan with new steel parts * Vintage license plate in frenched body recess * Battery box relocated with additional storage behind seats * Interior window moldings included * Door top pieces included * Mockup motor and transmission housing included * Wheels and tires included * Original top portion of butterfly hood included (bottom was incorporated into inner fender wells) * Build book in process . . .with over 1700 photos.We also have concept sketches of the original design, interior dash designs and material selection ideas for gauges, headlights, turn signals, seats . . . a collection of thoughts and ideas collected over the last 4 1/2 years.
