1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396

Real SS 396- code X-22. Has 375 hp and a 4-speed. Real hugger orange without vinyl top- code 72-72. The orange houndstooth upholstery really makes the car, very sharp!
EXTERIOR: This one's exceptionally nice. The paint is like orange glass. It is polished slick. Jambs are painted real nice. Very straight, the panels fit real nice. It's also decked out with correctly painted hockey stick stripes. Has the exterior trim package, spoilers, and cowl induction hood. Looks like all the chrome has been replaced- the bumpers, optional bumper guards, emblems, marker lights, moldings around the windows. New windshield. Has Corvette 15x8 rally wheels with new trim and BFGoodrich tires. Weatherstrips and window seals are new.
INTERIOR: This is what I really love about the car that sets it apart from the others. The orange houndstooth deluxe interior makes it. Seats have been reupholstered, new headrests. New molded armrest door panels with new window cranks and door locks. New carpet, headliner and sail panels that fit tight as a drum. The overhead light works, has a new mirror. The dash pad, steering wheel is new. The instrument panel looks to be good original. It does he have the factory gauges in the console, a tachometer and a clock in the dash.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Strong running 396-375 hp engine with GM aluminum intake matched up to the square port heads. Has a functional cowl induction system with the complete air cleaner assembly and the flapper door in the hood. It's been upgraded with some long tube headers. Correct looking new fuel line, chrome valve covers, distributor, alternator, wiper motor, horns etc. Has correct curved neck radiator, fan shroud and clutch fan. Has reproduction spring clamp battery cables and hose clamps. New washer bottle, squirters are hooked up. Has hood insulation. It features power steering and brakes. Trim tag on the firewall designates X22 SS 396.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very clean metal with a gray and white spatter finish. Looks like the installed new full 1/4 panels. Has rally wheel and new BFG tire for a spare, complete jack assembly. Bottom of the trunk lid and jamb are painted real nice. Has new weatherstrip and decal.
UNDERSIDE: Has a custom fat exhaust system with x-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Brake system has been redone, has disc in front, e-brake assembly is complete. New fuel system including tank, sending unit, lines and straps. The front end was rebuilt. In back it has new shocks and polyurethane spring perch bushings. Looking up at the motor it looks fresh, has new freeze plugs. Has chrome oil pan and high torque starter too. The bell housing and trans look fresh. Has period correct Muncie 4-speed. U-joints are replaced. Has original 3.31 12 bolt rear in back. The bottom of this car is very nice, cleaned up and painted nicely. Very clean metal.
