She is a fully restored 1946 Chevy hot-rodded in the spirit of the 50's.....but with great AC for South Carolina summers.

With that classic one year only '46 Chevy Waterfall Grille she is a knock-out.

She is a dependable performer with a replacement Blue Flame* straight 6 hooked to a Muncie 4 speed with Hurst linkage. *The Blue Flame's head appears to be a pressurized oil unit with a 3703570 number that could indicate manufacture in 1954. *The engine block serial number S1028 indicates manufacturing was in either Saginaw or St. Louis on Conveyor 162 in January of 52. She also has: a cross over pipe for dual exhausts, beefy extra AC fan, a one piece glass windshield, 12 volt alternator, working directionals/flashers and a beautiful paint job. She constantly gets thumbs up!
When purchased in 2018 the truck was mated to a 2 speed Powerglide with a massive and electric overdrive unit. The previous owner was not a hot rod guy. He had no history on the exact origins of the truck or who handled the restoration of the body and previous drive train before we got her. He kept her on his South Carolina mountain vacation farm and drove her infrequently.
Two weeks into our ownership the trans promptly died and we installed a rebuilt Olds 442* Muncie 4 speed with new Hurst shifter and linkage. The old, useless electric Overdrive was dumped. We un-did modifications made to the frame by what appears to be many other hands. New cross members were installed along with a new custom turned drive shaft to replace the old automatic and overdrive mess. We added AC with big auxiliary electric fan for South Carolina summers. Much of this work was done by "Once Driven" Restorations in Savannah, GA and buttoned up by "Auto Doctors", Hardeeville, SC.
The gorgeous black and red paint is believed to be clear coated. There are minor paint chips. Interior is in very good condition, no leaks. White wall tires are beefy, brakes are strong. Wilwood hydraulic pedal system is excellent.
Additional add on's include period correct amber fogs, electric wiper, passenger grab bar, working horns, refurbished oak bed and period correct rear view side mirrors.

FAQ: I am not a dealer. The South Carolina Title is clear. The truck is registered and driven often. This has been a fun project and a hoot to own but I want to move on to another project and need the garage space. The use of the term "she" is intentional as a salute to those who believe being politically incorrect suits us just fine.

If you're after even more power (she easily cruises now at 60 smoothly) - she's a perfect candidate with plenty of under hood space for an easy-peezy small block drop-in.
