Great cruising car that turns heads! Drives well and is dependable.
1978 Chevrolet Nova
Selling my 1978 Chevy Nova. The seats were recovered professionally in 2017.Original Straight 6 engine.New automatic transmission in 2017. (I've put on maybe 3K since then).Runs well and is very dependable and smooth to go cruising.Garaged and pampered. The body is good. It's a real head turner and I get compliments everywhere I go.I wouldn't call it show condition, although I've entered it in a a lot of shows and always get a lot of great comments. It looks really good, but up close, the paint is not perfect.Unknown mileage. It has probably flipped over.Factory A/C but it does not currently work.Located in Port Angeles, WashingtonI would trust this car to drive it anywhere. It is really in great condition. There are fewer and fewer of these on the road. I've really enjoyed having this and going for drives on a Saturday. On Jan-14-20 at 14:48:06 PST, seller added the following information:
If you would like more pictures or have any specific questions, please ask. Some additional information.I had a new muffler and exhaust on it during the summer. The switch to change the fan between high and low is broken. It is either on high fan or you turn it off. It hasn't been a big deal so I've never fixed it.The trunk does tend to leak when there is a lot of rain or when I go through a car wash. I've replaced the trunk rubber seal / gasket but it still leaks. It is a common issue with Novas. There are three keys. One to the ignition. One to the door. And one for the trunk. The trunk lock was replaced last year and I didn't have it keyed to match the door. The tires have less than 3,000 miles on them. They were purchased new with the wheels in 2017.There is a small rust hole under the door.I think that the speedometer is off by 5 mph or so. I've never officially tested it, but it just seems that way when driving.Front and rear seat belts function.Interior lights all function. There is no cigarette lighter / 12V. It must have been an option. The LED headlights have "daytime" halo lights that are wired to the parking lights so you can run them during the day. They look awesome. I usually leave them on white, but you can change the color through a Bluetooth app.The LED headlights are very bright at night and are far better than the original ones. I still have the originals if you'd prefer to have them.I replaced the battery last year. There is no spare tire.I always run premium fuel.
