1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. Resto Mod. This Car is a 1971 chevelle with a 70 front end which gives it an amazing look. The car has a LQ4 engine from a 2004 denali with which has been punched out to a 408 CI. Engine was built by Leggett Engine Research and inside you will find Diamond pistons on a 4-inch stroke callies crankshaft with a 10.5:1 compression ratio. The engine has a comp camshaft and AFR 230cc heads. The intake is a Holley Hi-Ram with a Fast 102 throttle body covered with a 4 inch cowl hood. The Fuel injectors are 1200cc pumped by two separate Walbro 450 fuel pumps. The car uses stock gm PCM which was tuned by the legendary Jeremy Formato from Fasterproms in Flordia and you can find the video on his youtube channel Fasterproms which is awesome. Car has XS power built headers and all piping was Fabricated by KML Performance and the Turbo is a Borg Warner s480 96/1.32. Tial sport blow off valves and also Tial sport 44mm wastegates. Transmission is a TH400 auto with an FTI converter with a 3800 stall with transbrake. Ford 9-inch spool-filled rear with 3.90 gears and Moser axles. Cars chassis runs on QA1 shocks with stock disc brakes on the front. The rear has been upgraded to discs using a kit from Spraker Racing. Upper and lower control arms are tubular units from UMI Performance with coil overs in the rear and anti roll bars from TRZ motorsports Car also has Dakota Digital Carbon gauges car has full factory interior which is in very very good condition condition.
