1969 Chevelle SS Clone 454 FI Big Block 4-speed Bucket Seats

Price: US $29,990.00 Item location: Springville, Iowa, United States
Description:

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

This was originally a 350 small block, auto trans on the column, bench seat car with factory air conditioning (removed)

It is now a SS tribute with a built fuel injected 454 big block with a manual 4-speed Borg Warner T-4 transmission, original rebuilt 12 bolt rear end, and bucket seats with a console. It also has front power disc brakes, rear drums and power steering. I havewon several trophies over the years with it. It is not really a show car, but it shows and looks very nice. The best part is how it performs!

Description: I put all high dollar/quality parts into this beast. Headman, Flow Master, Edelbrock, FiTech, AutoMeter, Be-Cool, etc. The interior is all new/restored. Lots of Auto Meter gauges with toggle panel for the electric cut outs and fans. Some custom touches on the dash. There is a retro sound stereo with 4 speakers. The driveline is in great rebuilt condition. The car runs and drives excellent down the road and stops as well.

The exterior is in good shape with some nicks and dings from driving it. This was built to be driven and for cruising so it has a good road gear in the rebuilt 12 bolt rear-end. The paint is shiny and looks great from 5 foot or so. Up close you can see some touch ups and dings from use. There are some custom 1 off touches on this car. It has a new vinyl top, new grill, and a few other items in the outside. The 1/4 panels were replaced. The tires are BFG’s with good tread and original SS rims.

Under the hood is a built 454 (about 550 HP and 580 FT Pounds of touque) fed by a new FiTech Mean Street 800hp fuel injection set up. To keep that monster cool is a high flow all Aluminum performance radiator with thermostat controlled dual Flex-a-lite high output (over 4000cfms) 2 speed dual fans. The engine also has a new Edelbrock intake, New Hedman headers connected to New dual 3” Flow Masters exhaust and mufflers out the back. There is also a pair of Granatelli electric exhaust cut outs with turn outs and interior toggle switch installed. There is no heating or blower fan hooked up, but the windows roll down ;) The only problem area on the body is the panel under the rear window. Started to bubble last year, but I have the new panel and paint to fix it if I get time or it will go with car.

I do have a small part of the build sheet and I am currently looking for the trim tag. It’s in my garage somewhere?:)

Please come look it over for yourself.
