1966 Chevrolet Chevelle real deal SS396 4 speed with 138 vin and is a factory big block a/c car. a/c currently not working. car was originally built in Fremont California and stayed there till 2004 when it was brought to New England. this car has never seen snow/salt or harsh weather conditions. it is always covered and garaged. it's had a pampered life and it shows in the way it looks and drives. not one rattle or squeak. has it's original rust, rot, and bubble free body panels. the original floors are as clean as top of car with no under coat or patches of any kind ever. trunk floor and frame are also original and in perfect original condition. the paint color is Marina blue base coat clear coat ppg. it show's a great shine with no dings, dents, bubbles, or scratches. it is a professional paint job that shows well with straight body lines and gaps between panels. the motor, transmission, rear end, and suspension is all new front to back with 3,000 miles on them. the motor is a nom fresh original 1966 396 375hp 4 bolt main big block that was built with all the best and strongest parts and workmen ship by a local professional machine shop with a reputation to be one of the best around. the motor was dynode by them. see pictures of dyno sheets. have all paper work and spec's. It is very driver friendly and dialed in till you don't want it to be. comes with all parts slips and break down of work performed. the motor temp runs around 170 to190 degrees. never over heats. the transmission is a fresh Muncie M22 rock crusher 4 speed with new Hurst shifter, original Muncie handle, Hayes fly wheel, and a soft pedal centerforce clutch assembly. the rear end is a all new original 12 bolt posi and 373 gears. the whole drive train is bullet proof. car has front and rear sway bars, power disc brakes, power steering, and a new upgraded quick ratio Z box heavy duty steering box. the interior is mint with factory soft ray tinted glass with no cracks and all work as should. working factory dash gauges, factory console with working clock and seat belts. all lights work as should including reverse and interior lights. great heat. e brake and horn also work fine. this car is adult owned and never abused. it runs and drives perfectly with no noises or any rattles. car comes with magazines, manuels, and a box full of slips and documentation. there's nothing to do to this car but get in and cruise. turns heads everywhere she goes.
