1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

Real Super Sport, indicated in the vin #. Only 500 miles on ground up restoration. Exceptionally clean Arizona car.
EXTERIOR: Factory red car. The paint really is slick, looks like a red mirror. Body is arrow straight, no rust or bubbles. Jambs are painted slick. All of the trim has been replaced. In front the bumper, grill, emblem, hood ornament, chrome louvers in the scoops. Has new stainless trim all around the windshield. Bowtie mirror, door handles, wheel well moldings are new. In back all the tail panel trim and bumper are new. New fuzzy window seals, new weatherstrips and sill plates. I like the chromed rally wheels, thet are 15 inch with the small derby caps. White letter tires look new. Black convertible top, boot and well liner are new.
INTERIOR: It is really nice inside. The cushions are new, all new upholstery. Seat backs are repainted, new chrome trim. The door panels, armrests and window cranks are new. The console is new, has a working clock. Has the correct reverse lockout shifter with chrome ball. Beautiful new reproduction 2 spoke deluxe steering wheel. Has the knee knocker tachometer and the factory gauges in the dash. There's a retro stereo with an auxiliary plug in the glove box. New glove box liner, chrome dash bezels and dash pad. New visors and mirror. New carpet. New seat belts front and back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Rebuilt 396 motor, upgraded HEI ignition. Dressed up with correct valve covers, air cleaner and decals. Brand new power brake system with new master and ines. Brand new alternator, looks like the wiring harness is new too. Has the correct power steering with the remote reservoir. The washer bottle is hooked up and it even has the glass bottle with extra fluid. Upgraded aluminum radiator. Everything's very neat, tidy and orderly.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean trunk compartment, has a new mat. New weatherstrip, new wiring harness going to the tail lights.
UNDERSIDE: The metal is dry as a chalkboard. No rust, no patches, not even pitting. It's been cleaned and neatly painted a smooth semi gloss black. The front end has been all apart and rebuilt. Bottom of the motor is clean, has high torque starter. Has #s matching M-20 Muncie 4-speed trans. Just rebuilt at a cost of $2,460. New shift linkage. New u-joints on the driveshaft. 3.31 12 bolt posi rear in back. New shocks and springs. Brake system is all new, has disc in front, new lines, new e-brake cables. New fuel system- tank, straps, insulators, sending unit, lines. New exhaust system, neatly bent. Bottom looks like a 1 year old car, it is clean.
