I have been trying to slow the car down to 12 50 all year to run that class at Muncie. I finally have it close by turning timing down to 26 total shifting 5500 and using a mechanicalthrottle stop set to just let the secondariesbarely open.

I have never turned a wrench on the car at the track other than to slow it down.
The first pass on the car was 7.38 at almost full throttle. I think it will go about 11.40'S all open.
The engine and trans was $7200 ---I can put you in touch with the machine shop in Nashville to verify this to serious buyers. You cant come close to building this car for the asking price. Please feel free to call me anytime 765 206 0350 SteveThe paint is nice and shinybase coat clear coat, with the barb wire under the clear. Paint is reportedly almost 20 years old, so it does shown some ware. Most notablythe nose and a little damage to the lower front door see pic, I have found no rust which is huge in my opinion.
Price is very firm $8900(no need to even try)
I have been slowlyputting the car back on the street- I have added the passengerseat, alternator, power steering, headlights ect. Still needs a few things but can easily be a street car, I have a clear title for the car.
I have been racing it on a mix of 50 50 pump gas. Straight racing gas has no effect on how it runs, I have not tried to run it on straight pump gas.
I cannot express how well this car runs.
I have slowly been trying to put it back on the street. I added the power steering, alternator, headlights as well as the passenger seat. I also purchased a front headlight harness out of a junk yard as well as hood hinges. There is a yellow wire under the dash that will power up the headlight harness to use the headlight switch. So a little work is still necessaryto be completely streetlegal. The factory gas tank is still being used and the gas gauge is a little screwy. Car comes with Flowmaster mufflers that bolt to headers,(collectors in pics removed) as well as the following-smoked headlight and tail light covers-hood hinges-factory drivers seat sliders. The power window regulator on the drivers side was dragging real bad and finally quit. I looked them up on Rock Auto and they are only 17 dollars.
Please feel free to call me at 765 206 0350 Steve I live 1 hour north of Indy. Delivery maybe available up to 200 miles one way at a $1 a loaded mile but you must call first.Tomorrow I will take a video of the car running and doing a quick burnout if I can get my wife to assist me and post to Youtube.
