1956 Chevy 210 post 2 door
This 56 has been sitting in a barn for 46 years until just a few months ago, it was on a concrete floor. In 1972 the owner blew the motor and put another motor in but never finished installing it sat ever since. The property was sold and the owner had no where to put it. Here are the details, great restoration or rat rod project, patina is excellent. 59K miles.
MOTOR68 327,2 bbl, stock engine, does not run, motor is currently stuck will not turn over.I have not tried anything to see if it will break free.
Power glide transmission, stock rear end.
INTERIOROriginal interior, does have a red back to the front seat ( not sure why, it was like that when he bought it ) it is all there but in need of work, headliner is missing in many places. I swept it out but never cleaned it up. Dash is very good with just some surface rust. It has been in a barn for all these years.
BODYBody is overall pretty decent shape, it has had a few patches put in the drivers quarter ( see pictures ) It does have a few places with some rust coming though, bottom front fender, quarter behind the door ( see pictures ) There is some rust in the inside bottom of the drivers door corner, door jams are good. Drivers side eyebrow has had some work ( see picture ) rust hole in the inside front drivers fender lip by the hood spring. Body has no dents or dings it is very straight, hood has no rust holes.Rockers are in very good shape. Patina is excellent if you want to go that route. Doors shut very nice and solid, Please look at the pictures !
FRAME,FLOORS,TRUNKTrunk is very nice, solid though out, only a rust hole at the very corner at the rear bumper, trunk lid is solid very little rust on the lip, around the trunk where the rubber goes is rust free. Frame is good, I see no rust holes in it, does have surface rust from sitting. Body mounts have some rust, a couple will need to replaced. Floors have rust ( see pictures ) someone patched the drivers side at one time ( sheet metal and rivets ) Passenger front is the worst. Radiator core support is in nice shape, as well as front inner fenders, firewall.
The car rolls to load, no brakes, drive shaft is in the trunk
I put the Cragars on it because the original wheels and tires only held air for about an hour. All the studs are there and good,I will include the stock rims if you want them.
All the glass is good, one very small crack in the passenger back side window in the corner ( about 2 inches long )
I DO NOT have all the trim, some of it is there but several pieces are missing.
OVERALLThis is a time capsule, it needs restored or hot rodded, possible gasser, but is a great start to a cool project. All original ( except motor ) Please look at the pictures and decide if this is a good project for you. I have been on Ebay for 10 years, I have sold several cars so please check my feedback.Clean Indiana title in my name, has keys that work, remember this is a 63 year old car and a project. I do my best to be honest and not waste your time. I included one picture when the car was outside after it rained to see what it would look like with just clear coat. Many misc parts.Original V8 car according to the vin, Harbor Blue, blue interior from the factory.

Once again this is a project but it is hard to find an original car.
