Description:

1960 Chevrolet Corvette

This eye catching red 1960 Corvette Convertible is finished in two-tone red and white with matching red vinyl interior and white convertible top. Folks will stop to ask questions about this car while you are driving around town. It is a real head turner!

This car is road worthy and headache free. It starts beautifully and is reliable. It has the more desirable 4-speed transmission and the correct 6,000 RPM tach. It also features the original tube Wonder bar AM radio.

The engine block casting number is 3756519. That signifies a 283 engine made between 1958 and 1962, with two bolt main bearings. The engine appears to be the 230HP single 4-barrel style that's correct for the car. Carburetor was rebuilt. Various lines and belts were replaced. Tach drive generator serviced. Front end serviced. Brakes were serviced. Vintage look radial tires were fitted and bias ply tires saved for show use.

The car really drives well; better than most Corvettes of this vintage. On looks this car could win local or regional shows and mechanically is better than most. There is no sign of any former accident damage.

The vehicle has been routinely checked and serviced at J E Robison Service Company in Springfield, MA.
