Description:

1967 Chevrolet Chevelle

Available for sale out of the Collectors' Car Garage Chicago facility is a 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle. This two owner car was originally purchased by the current owner at a dealer in Arizona. Prior to its current state, the car was built at the Kansas City facility and was originally a cream white according to the VIN.

Recently the current owner had the car undergo a full frame off restoration which included powder coating the frame and cleaning/restoring all parts. At the time of the restoration the owner states that there was no welding required and the floorboards were rust free. The car was refinished in Diamond Black paint (by House of Colors Paint) with a period correct black interior and a black top complete with working AC.

After the restoration was complete the car was sent to Varilla Motorsports in Chicago for an engine and drivetrain refresh. As the car at the time of purchase by the current owner did not have its original numbers matching motor, he opted to have the 327 removed and a 572 GM crate motor installed in its place. Along with this, a BeCool radiator was installed and a complete billet serpentine pulley set. The 572 is equipped with a 850 vacuum secondary carburetor and MSD ignition. Fuel is delivered by a Holly billet fuel pump

This new engine is mated to an upgraded 5 speed transmission that replaced the original 4 speed unit. Additionally, an upgraded Chrome Molly driveshaft and Center Force clutch were installed to handle the increase in power being sent to the rear wheels through a new rear differential built by 373 Gear. 35 spline axles were also installed. The car is equipped with Wilwood brakes on all four corners and has a height adjustable coilovers to accommodate the aftermarket Boss wheels that are currently on the car.

This Chevelle currently sits with 762 miles on the odometer which was reset by the current owner upon completion of all the restoration and engine work given the extensive overhaul on this vehicle.

Vehicle is sold As-Is. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
