For sale is this excellent 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS. Very few of the RS/SS models were made. This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro was restored from an original RS/SS vehicle. When this rust free car was purchased it was an original RS/SS vehicle all original and was a big block 4 speed car. It was then professionally restored about 10 years ago and a new built 396 motor and 4 speed transmission were installed. The numbers do not match. Otherwise this car is an original RS/SS. Every effort was made to restore the car to its original build. This is one of the nicest original RS/SS Camaro's you will come across. This Camaro RS/SS is equipped with power steering, manual windows, power brakes, seat belts, new interior to match original equipment, stock Camaro Rally Wheels. It has a new battery and alternator (replaced since the restoration) It is near perfect with no rust, no paint or body flaws, chrome is excellent and this vehicle runs smooth, shifts correctly, has no leaks, uses no fluids and is nice a driver as you will find. Ready for show or cruising. It is set up under the dash for AC, but does not have cold AC. The doors, locks, radio/stereo, mirrors, switches, lights, headlight closures, seats, gauges, wipers, washers, and every thinkable thing works correctly on this car.

This was an original yellow vehicle with gold interior. The restoration changed the car to burgundy with black interior. Other than the color changes and the addition of a new built motor, this RS/SS is original. Build pictures are available which show the original car and its transformation.
