Rust Free Chevy Square Body 1981 Truck, Runs, drives and well maintained

1981 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500

Very Clean, Very Nice, Rust free GM Chevrolet Truck from Texas, currently located in Minnesota. 1981 Square Body Chevy 2500 2X4. I bought this truck for a customer with the intention of it going to SEMA. The project was canceled so now I have no need for the pickup any longer.
I spent a lot of time looking at this truck when we purchased it, as with any project we start with, this truck is amazingly solid! I did my best to take decent photos but it does show best in person. Truck was very well maintained with many new parts, water pump, radiator, exhaust brakes, ect.. Standard maintenance stuff. Runs and drives very well! Four-speed manual transmission with a floor shifter and a good running straight-six 292 ci. engine. Locking differential and equipped with an eight-foot box that is in fantastic condition inside and out. Originally had AC but has been disconnected. Two 20-gallon fuel tanks and they both operate in addition, so does the tank selector switch. The interior is worn, well used and will need some work. New tires and nice Alcoa aluminum wheels. I believe all the sheet metal is original and I saw no signs that the truck was ever in an accident. Again, this is a very straight, nice solid truck. Lots of potential with this. It could be driven as is, Built into a very cool lifted 4X4, lowered with baggs, so many options and this is a great place to start.-Greg-
