Built at the Taryton, NY plant with a 327 CID V8 and Automatic Transmission the 1968 Chevrolet Impala Convertible is sought after by Hot Rodders, Custom Builders and Purist alike.
This particular Project Car is a "Paint & Body Special" the perfect starting point for your next Custom Build. It appears somewhat complete, however, it has not been started or driven in years and has suffered from exposure to the elements.
Exterior photos show a fairly complete body with most trim present and usable (see all pics). There are areas of rust that make this what my Dad would refer to as a" Paint & Body Special" which meant that if you fix the paint & body, you're going to have something special!
There is what appears to be a 327 CIDV8 present along with an automatic transmission that are completely untested and will need to be inspected to determine completeness or usability.
The interior appears fairly complete as well but will need to be updated or restored, you decide.
Underside pics reveal a fairly complete chassis that has rust present on most components.
This 1968 Chevy Impala Convertible Project does not run and will need to be towed, shipped or trailered from the shop. it will need to be inspected to determine completeness (due to our filming schedule we cannot perform any additional work on this Truck or build it for you). The winning bidder may come to the shop to pick up the car, or have it shipped.
