Description:

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS5

im listing this for my husband.theres been some unusual activity on his watch list?...he has over 950 feedback and its100%.. .. mines ok,heres his words: the chevelle here has been replicated to that of a 70 SS-454-360 h.p.,LS5.it is a fabulous car.very nice and solid.was not a rebuilt rust bucket.seems to retain its original sheetmetal.like trunk,doors,floors,ect....but what stands out the most about this car is the paint....its 32 years old?..it was supposedly painted in 1987.and it is laquer.paint has no rust bubbles, cracks,or checking.its very slick.it looks nice up close too.NOT like a 10 or a 5 footer.the only take away is there are a few ever so slight buff thru places on a couple of edges.all jambs, under trunk, under hood are nice and slick.....now what i thought would be the way to present this car?...the only way to describe this cars overall condition is to think back to when you could still find these in extremely nice condition, lets say when they were 6 to 8 years old and they had just been traded on the small used car lots?...that is what this car looks in my opinion.i remember and ill bet some of you do too? all chrome and stainless is nice.it seems to have the original bumpers, and theyre nice, the front bumper has just a small spot the size of a golf ball of dullness where the water dripped of the hood in a place.all 4 t-3 headlights, glass is all good.all doors, trunk, hood open and shut good and all consistent gaps...on one of the pictures of under the hood, youll probably notice the valve cover to air cleaner hose is not in place?,i have it...i just forgot to connect it before the picture was taken...
engine is a 454,with M20 4 spd,12 bolt rearend.all work great.interior is flawless.does have the tach and gauges.car looks right, sounds right and drives right.there is a slight whine in the power steering pump, and the horn doesnt blow? but thats about all the negative i know of....this car has been highly and flawlessly detailed to the ultimate degree...underneath this car is as nice as the interior and what you see under the hood area...look at the pictures of the under side of it,and compare to alot of others on here that are black over dirt or either all black and lacking detail? im a dealer doing business as hathcock auto sales and restoration.do not bid unless you have read and understand my requirements.so that means if your bidding, you understand that it is sold as-is.no warranty expressed or implied.all statements are based on my opinion, yours may differ? there is an immediate, non refundable deposit of $1,500.00 due within 24 hours of the close of listing.and full payment will be considered required and due within 3 days.if you cant meet these instructions, then please, dont bid..sorry to be like this, but irresponsible people cause this. i have a friend that is a dispatcher at a major transport co.he can usually get cars moved for around .040 to .065 cents a mile?thats extremely reasonable...........because of the compliments i recieve on the cars i list on ebay,i do offer the detailing and restoration of chevrolet cars as this one represents...feel free to contact me about this.thanks
