1950 Chevy 3100 Truck Fully Restored! This Classic 3100 doesn't drive like your typical 50's truck.It has a Chevy 250 inline 6 (more reliable than the original 235 that originally came in the truck ). It has the complete front end engine cradle subframe conversion, rack and pinion, rear end from a 1970s Chevy Nova. It has large power drum brakes all around (stops on a dime, power steering conversion with a 70's firebird steering column (blinkers, tilt wheel), full 12v conversion. This is a rust free beautiful truck. I have receipts on every part purchased years ago from its restoration. The paint is in near perfect shape (no cracking, pealing, etc) I would give it a 9 out of 10! Definitely ready for car shows! It has beautiful chrome accents that really pop with the Sea Foam Green paint job! This is NOT a truck full of bondo and a cheap paint job. Most panels were newly replaced and then a high end paint job was done years ago. It has always been garaged and covered. Everything works on this truck. No rust on the undercarriage. It has been completely sprayed with bed liner so you will not have any issues with rust in the future. The engine and transmission are strong. No white smoke from the engine and it sounds great. It has a 4 speed transmission that shifts perfectly. This cruises down the freeway at 70mph with no problem. Custom interior with unique gray cloth upholstery, oak wood and chrome steering wheel, gloss black trim, black carpet, rear gloss black bed liner, all gauges work, interior chrome is near perfect, nice radio with tape player and speakers under the seat, auto windshield wipers, original patina look heater (works great). All rubber around doors and windows have been replaced and are soft. The windows roll up and down with ease. The outside chrome is all in excellent shape except for the bumpers (I would rate them a 7 out of 10 and say they are in good shape). To make the outside perfect I would replace the bumpers which you can buy brand new for about $120 each. The bed was just completely refinished and shows beautifully. The tires are in great shape and the chrome wheels have no pitting and shine like they are new! This truck has been used over the years as a Sunday cruiser and to be shown at the local car shows. I have noticed some oil residue on the oil pan but nothing major. Feel free to message me with any questions that you might have. Selling because I have to many classic vehicles right now.
