1971 Chevrolet Chevy Chevelle Concours Estate Wagon, Cargo edition no rear seats
1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Concours Estate
1971 Chevelle Concours Estate Wagon 350/4bl, 3 spd auto. A/C, ps, pdb, dual exhaust, dual action gate, cargo rear, reese hitch. Bench seat, fold down rear seat. Daily driver with nice black interior. This car looks good in photos, and can be driven anywhere. It's not perfect, paint is bad, but it's really a solid car (floors, frame, cowl, core support, hood etc.) and never been in an accident. It has sheet metal rust spots not visible in pics. Mostly lower sheet metal panels needing attention. All around the rear glass is pretty solid. The body lines/gaps are very well and the doors shut tight and straight. The bumpers are also in nice shape and very straight! I've had the car for about 2 years and have driven it everywhere. My friends get a kick of out of the attention it gets at shows, as people pass better cars to come view it. The air is all complete, and the previous owner said a new blower switch would make it work. Starts every time. Make the BAD- A"SS" wagon you've always wanted! Please note!... The reserve price is low because the pictures of the rallye wheels are what is included with that reserve price. If you want the Chrome mags pictured in most pics, (225/70-15)they are available for an additional $500.00 and I'll keep the stock rallye wheels (225/60-15). Feel free to come look at the car in person, or send somebody to view it. It is registered and tagged and can be driven anywhere. Odometer shows 22k, probably at leastonce or twiceover. On Aug-27-19 at 12:38:23 PDT, seller added the following information:
Hey guys, I needed to update this. READ ALL. All of a sudden I am getting a lot of questions, which is great so please ask. Mostly about floors and frame and how bad is the rust underneath and structurally. It's solid underneath, but I could only add 8 more pics, so I tried to show the worst rust spots which are hidden by aluminum tape and painted over. If you want more pics, send an email address and I'll get you more. The worst side is the right rear 1/4 by the w/o mldg and dogleg which would need a metal patch. The doors and the lower frt fenders aren't real bad, mostly smaller round areas on flat sheet metal. Inside the doors are pretty good, and I did show the worst one, (r/r I believe). The tailgate has a spot on the outside, and inside the right lower inner corner is rottedand some across the bottom. The rear gate jamb area and hinge setup is very solid. Rear window is slow, and I hardly ever put it up as I keep it in the garage and always have it down. Rear brake cyl is leaking also. "Good points I forgot to include"...This car had a set of heads put on it about a year before I bought it (new valve job), and a new transmission. The car runs good and shifts hard. The gas tank was also removed and reconditioned. So if you have questions "please ask". If you live close by, "come look". Ifyou are looking for or"Need a Perfect Chevelle" wagon, "don't bid". This is probably one of the better Chevelle wagon deals (comparing prices under 10k) on a 1970-72,that you can driveaway with! Just drive it, orrestore itinto something fantastic. That's about all I can add for now, as I tried to explain it the best possible. Thanks for reading!
