1963 Chevrolet C-10 4x4

Nice truck that is drive-able as is and I use it regularly. Drove it 300 miles on a little errand in July and have driven it at least 50 miles every week throughout the summer. The truck has belonged to one of three friends since the 70’s and I have owned it for the last 20 of those years. I built the truck to haul motorcycles, pull trailers and run errands with but can no longer do all of the things that I used to do so it is time to sell the truck for someone else to enjoy and maintain. The truck sets level and runs straight. The ruck has about 30,000 miles since the conversion and had just over 90,000 before then.

The truck had new floor plans installed back in the late 80’s and the pans are still very good with no issues. The rest of the truck has usual rust issues with the worst being the passenger door but I have a good replacement door. The driver door, passenger roof above door and in front of driver visor both have rust, as do the lower cab and quarter panel portions. All parts are available from LMC to weld in. Everything except the passenger door could be repaired with bondo if welding is not your thing. The bed liner is crummy and peeling off but the Por15 that we spray on it a million years ago is still in good shape.

The truck is on a 1988 4x4 chassis and all of the components listed below were rebuilt or replaced in 2005 except the engine which was installed in 2002. The following is a basic list of things installed or rebuilt;

New 350/350 Crate engine from LMC

Rebuilt 700R4 automatic transmission with O/D

Rebuilt front and rear differentials with 4.56 gears

Rebuilt transfer case

Manual front differential activator (2WD, 4WD low and 4WD high plus 2WD low)

Edelbrock

GM HEI

Summit aluminum radiator (also have a new one ready to install)

All new front end components

New CV units

New front disc rotors and rebuilt calipers

Dual boost master cylinder with disc/drum actuator

Full Painless wiring harness and fuse block

Rancho 5000 shocks

Add a leaf

Wiper blades and arms

Vintage Air system (needs new condenser installed (included))

New window regulators (still need tinkering with)

Lecarra steering wheel from the 80’s

Autometer Phantom guages (voltmeter not working and temp guage works most of the time)

Weld billet aluminum wheels

Summit HP electric fan

The tires are Mickey Thompson 33” and the 4 on the ground have 1500 miles on them while the spare has not been used.

Other parts that go with the truck include a customized 800lb. bed rack, new headers, new 2” lift blocks, new summit aluminum hi-flow radiator, new A/C condenser, visors and passenger mount, and other misc. parts.

Please look at the pics and ask for more if your not seeing something. You can email questions through Ebay and I will get back to you ASAP. The truck is located in Austin, Texas and can be seen by appointment during the sale.
