mysterious 409 4 speed Biscayne

Description:
1963 Chevrolet Impala base
This car is a enigma. a mysteryIt is either a super low mileage survivor or the best near concourse restoration I have seen in 30 years in the industry.6 cylinder vin but a correct year 425 horsepower 409 with matching dual quad carbs and mated 4 speed. With factory tach and factory wiring, power steering delete, radio delete, dome light button switch delete, no window washers factory rubber floor, correct air cleaner as well as a larger pulley alternator. our best guess ?1 Someone bought a 63 bone stock Biscayne and made a racecar out of NOS parts.2. Someone added a few "employee bonuses " at the factory.3. Chevy dealer had some money to play with.4. 60's drag car tribute.5. Loch ness monster. What I can say is the doors close like a new Mercedes, drives smooth and solid, no damage or rust to be found. It appearsto be too old to be new but too new to be old .
Purchased from an estate In Utah some 9 years ago current owner had the engine balancedand blueprinted and the transmission rebuilt . It has a repaint at some point in its history
