1939 Chevy Master Deluxe with a FULL FRAME OFF RESTORATION! Brand new 350 crate 330 H.P. Chevy engine paired with a 700 R4 automatic tranny! Holley performance 4 BBL Carburetor 600 CFM. Edelbrock performer intake manifold. Hooker super comp ceramic headers. 2 and 1/4" aluminized w/ flow master 40 series exhaust. Southern rod mustang II I.F.S. w/ disk brakes. Rear-end 10 bolt Chevy 3.73 gears. Southern air/heat/defrost (working a/c). Electric fan. TPI gauges. (fuel gauge does not work but a new one is installed in the glove box that works) Brand new battery (w/cutoff under the seat). Carb just cleaned. Runs, drives and idles excellent!Exterior ICI Speed Red Base Coat / Clear Coat.ALL METAL BODY with original floor pans, hood and grill ! Fenders and running boards fiberglass with 2" wider rear fenders! Most bolts, nuts and screws are stainless. Leather and velour interior. This car has won many best of shows, people's choice, and best in class awards down in Texas when the restore was complete.Custom pinstriping with "thirty-nine" painted in the stripe.
This car was a Texas car until 2013. It was then bought already restored and came up to Massachusetts. The frame off resto was done in 2005 in texas. Car did NOT get driven much at all for the last 7 years hence the very low miles on this restoration! The car was never even driven in the rain since the restoration!
*** There are some minor flaws that will be disclosed here. The last 4 pictures show the couple cracks on the lower left corner of trunk, chaffing marks from driver side hood rubbing fender when closing, and driver door was dropping when opened causing it to rub the fender also. The door has been adjusted and is not nearly as bad anymore. it is still a little off when closed. Also, the panel under the dash that matches the interior, is a little loose. It is not perfect but this is one solid daily driver that is a big head turner! Gets A LOT of attention and compliments.
