1970 Chevrolet C-10 Long Bed
1970 Chevrolet C-10
Runs and drives nice. Solid truck. The truck has been in the family since 1991 and has always been garage kept. No accidents or body work since 1991. I do not know the history before 1991. It does have really old paint, so from 15ft away the truck looks amazing. When you get close, you can see paint imperfections. (See the pictures I attached)
Overall it is in great condition, however don't expect it has had a complete restoration.
Power drum brakes, powersteering. Stock suspension.
Engine- sbc350 Crate motor from the 90's Edelbrock performer package, world products heads, headers and flowmaster exhaust. If it idles for 10 minutes, sometimes it will start smoking. I think the valve stem seals are worn.
Transmission- th350 with a 2300 TCI stall convertor, and shift kit. Works flawlessly. Drips trans fluid (old dipstick tube seal).
Rear end- factory gm 12 bolt with a new right lock drop-in locker. 3:73 final drive. Work great for driving up gravel driveways.
Interior is nice for the age. Heater blower doesnt work.
Surface rust underneath, but no major rust issues at all. Solid truck. You can drive it like it is, or it would be an easy restoration.
