$91,863 invested, impeccable. A/c, cruise.
1960 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 --
$91,863 spent on a super meticulous custom build. Subtle yet very appealing! In and out this car is first class. EXTERIOR: Outstanding workmanship. The hood, doors and trunk just click shut. Fit and finish is fantastic. Body is arrow straight with a glass white finish. The trim really kicks it up a notch. Look at the grill, all the stainless and anodized trim was chrome plated. I think the side moldings were chromed too. Every piece is show quality. The... big 18 inch polished Torque Thrust wheels are sharp. A little wider wheel in back is tucked up under the wheel well. Has low profile cruiser tires. Jambs are meticulous, of course new weatherstrips and window seals. New windshield. Glass was tinted. Has rear mount antenna. INTERIOR: Simple, yet fantastic. Quality is off the charts. The turquoise color really pops against the white. So I'm sitting in the car right now. The seat feels great, they have been all rebuilt, new firm cushions. New correct type upholstery with no wrinkles. New stock door panels, window cranks, armrests. The dash, wow, it glistens. The metal is painted smooth and glossy. Has a really nice set of custom gauges with a tachometer, the numbers match the turquoise. Every piece of chrome sparkles. It's all new but they used the original style air conditioning controls and vents. Beautiful restored steering wheel on a tilt column, the shift indicator is correct for the overdrive. Interior lights are bright. Original style turquoise and black speckled carpet and floor mats. Under the dash even looks new. It has been completely rewired and has updated fuse block. In the glove box is new looking, the light works and there are three 12 volt receptacles for charging your phone etc. Hidden in the ashtray is a Secret Audio stereo controller. Headliner, rear speaker shelf, visors were replaced. New turquoise retractable seatbelts. Literally every square inch of the interior of this car is pristine and fits right. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is where it gets really good. New from Chevy an LS-2 crate motor is beautifully displayed. Has custom covers with Bel Air logos. Has Bigmouth 92 mm air induction system, serpentine belt and pulley system, modern alternator and power steering. All new heat and air conditioning system. A big aluminum radiator with an overflow bottle and electric fan keeps it cool. Of course everything is super meticulous show quality. Bottom of the hood is gloss white with insulation. It also features power brakes and electronic cruise control. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is all solid metal painted gray and white spatter paint. The taillight housings, wiring, weatherstrip are new. Has a layer of insulation and then the rubber plaid mat. It has restored rim, new tire for a spare. Complete jack assembly. There's a CD changer subwoofer, amp and 6 x 9 speakers up under the rear deck. Trunk light works. UNDERSIDE: Rust free, all metal floors. The chassis was completely restored and painted gloss black. The front suspension is new. All new brake system with disc conversion in front. The exhaust is neatly bent along the frame, has stainless Magnaflow mufflers and a crossover pipe. Bottom of the all aluminum motor is spotless, has high torque starter. Fitted with a modern 4L60e, electronic overdrive automatic from Street and Performance. In back it has rebuilt rear end with 3.42 Auburn posi gear and new panhard bar. Has airbags in the coil springs, new shocks. New fuel tank and sending unit. Sometimes less is more. This minimalistic Bel Air still stands out because of it's quality. Better yet is how it cruises. Take it anywhere with confidence and in comfort. Includes a showboard, manuals and literature, wiring schematic, paint codes, misc extras.
